Description
Sediment filters are produced from fine melted polypropylene, which is then blown and spun into a sort of cylindrical form. The Polyspun filter's purpose is to remove unwanted fine particles from drinking water, such as sand, dirt, silt, and rust particles. The Removal of such particles allows Carbon Block and GAC filters to work normally and perform much better.
Applications
1 micron: for the reduction of cysts and bacteria such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia and other objects like very fine sediment like silt supply, the water supply, are best. This is the best UV sterilisation system and is highly recommended. It helps reduce colour in the water and increases the life of the UV quartz sleeves.
Sediment filters do not remove chemicals, heavy metals, bacteria, or dissolved particulate matter. They do not improve the taste or smell of water.
