Pentair radial flow filters are designed to efficiently remove contaminants and impurities from water. These filters utilize a radial flow design, where water flows from the outside to the inside of the filter cartridge. This design allows for greater contact time between the water and the filtering media, resulting in more effective filtration.

Filters

1. Poly Pleated 20 Micron Filter

Purpose: This filter is used as a pre-filter to remove larger particles and sediment. Benefits:

  • Initial Particle Removal: Effectively removes larger particles, sediment, sand, and rust down to 20 microns.
  • Improves Water Clarity: Helps improve water clarity by capturing visible particles.
  • Protects Subsequent Filters: Extends the lifespan of the downstream filters by preventing larger particles from clogging them.

2. Polyspun 1 Micron Filter

Purpose: This filter serves as a finer sediment filter. Benefits:

  • Fine Particle Removal: Captures fine particles, sediment, rust, and other suspended solids down to 1 micron in size.
  • Enhanced Water Clarity: Further enhances the clarity and quality of the water by removing finer particles.
  • Additional Protection: Provides an additional layer of protection for the final filter by capturing smaller particles that the 20-micron filter might miss.

3. Pentair Radial Flow Filter

Purpose: This filter is typically a granular activated carbon (GAC) filter designed to remove chemical contaminants and improve taste and odor. Benefits:

  • Chlorine and Chemical Removal: Effectively reduces chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), pesticides, herbicides, and other chemical contaminants.
