1. Microlene Polyspun 1PP10J Filter

Purpose: This is a sediment filter designed to remove fine particles from water. Benefits:

  • Improves Water Clarity: Enhances the clarity and quality of the water by removing visible particles.
  • Protects Downstream Filters: Extends the lifespan of the subsequent filter by preventing fine particles from clogging it.
  • High Dirt-Holding Capacity: The polyspun design allows for a higher dirt-holding capacity, meaning it can trap more contaminants before needing replacement.

2. Matrikx CTO+ 1 Micron Filter

Purpose: This is an activated carbon block filter with a 1-micron rating. Benefits:

  • Chlorine Reduction: Effectively removes chlorine, which improves taste and odor.
  • Chemical Contaminant Removal: Reduces volatile organic compounds (VOCs), pesticides, herbicides, and other chemical contaminants.
  • Fine Particle Filtration: Provides additional fine particulate filtration down to 1 micron, complementing the first stage filter.
