Omnipure Q5567: The "Maintenance Reducer"
The Q5567 uses Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) mixed with KDF-55 media. KDF is a copper-zinc formulation that uses an electrochemical process to remove chlorine and heavy metals while also inhibiting the growth of bacteria and algae within the filter.
Best Use: Ideal for city/town water where chlorine taste is the main issue, or for protecting appliances (like coffee machines or ice makers) because KDF helps control scale buildup.
