Description
Brand: Ecosoft
Origin: Founded in Ukraine in 1991 by the chemists Tetiana Mitchenko and Oleksandr Mitchenko, Ecosoft has grown into an international manufacturer for water treatment systems all over the world.
And while we have become part of the Austrian BWT Group in 2018, at our core, we’re still a family-run business.
Econnect?
Ecosoft’s "Smart IoT" (Internet of Things) feature. It essentially turns your water filter into a smart device that you can monitor and control from your smartphone or a web dashboard. The Ecosense Stylish model, removes the guesswork of maintenance by providing real-time data on how the system is performing.
Key Features of Econnect
-
Filter Life Tracking: Instead of guessing when to change your filters based on months, Econnect tracks exactly how many liters have passed through the system. It will send a notification to your phone when it’s actually time for a replacement.
-
Water Quality Monitoring: It measures the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) of both the incoming tap water and your purified water. This allows you to see the exact "rejection rate" (how clean the water is) at any moment.
-
Consumption Stats: You can see how much water your household consumes daily, weekly, or monthly.
-
Leak Detection & Alerts: If the system detects an internal leak or a malfunction, it can send an emergency alert to your device to prevent water damage.
-
Remote Firmware Updates: Like a smartphone, the system’s internal software can be updated over Wi-Fi to improve efficiency or add features.

Water after filtration
Parameter Value
Total mineral content, mg/L 60 - 80
Magnesium, mg/L 4 - 6
Calcium, mg/L 10 - 15
pH 7 - 8,5
* The indicators are determined under the following conditions: inlet water temperature is 20 °С, outlet water composition and filter operation parameters correspond to the recommended by the manufacturer, water consumption intensity is appropriate for a family of three. When the inlet water temperature decreases in winter, the mineral content in the treated water may be lower, and when the temperature
increases in summer, it may be higher.

The Membrane "Speed" (284 LPD)
Reverse Osmosis is a slow, molecular-level filtration process. If you were to bypass the tank and try to fill a glass directly from the membrane, the water would only come out in a thin trickle (about 200ml per minute).
284 LPD is the metric equivalent of a 75 GPD (Gallons Per Day) membrane. This number represents the total "workload" the system can handle if it ran continuously for 24 hours under ideal conditions (perfect temperature and pressure).
2. The Role of the Storage Tank
Because 200ml/minute is too slow for practical use (it would take minutes to fill a glass), the system uses a pressurized storage tank. While you aren't using water: The system slowly "trickles" purified water into the tank, compressing an internal air bladder. When you open the tap: The compressed air pushes that stored water out at a high flow rate, allowing you to fill a glass or kettle in seconds. Refilling: Once you close the tap, the system automatically turns back on to refill the tank at that 284 LPD pace until it’s full again.
3. Why it says 284 LPD if the tank is smaller? The tank usually holds between 7 to 12 liters of usable water at any given time. The 284 LPD rating tells you how "quickly" that tank can be replenished
