1. Calcite (Calcium Carbonate)

This is the core mineralizing agent. As water flows through the calcite, it dissolves a controlled amount of calcium into the water.

• Function: Enriches the water with calcium, adjusts the pH level to a more neutral or slightly alkaline state, and gives the water a "sweeter," more natural taste.

2. Activated Coconut Shell Carbon

High-quality charcoal derived from coconut shells.

• Function: Acts as a "polishing" filter. It removes any residual tastes or odors that might have developed while the water sat in the RO storage tank, ensuring the final glass of water is crisp and fresh.

• The re-mineralizing cartridge designed to increase pH and reintroduce beneficial minerals like Calcium and Magnesium back into the water. The membrane cannot differentiate between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ substances so it removes both.
