• What Cysts Does It Reduce?

  Microscopic waterborne parasites (cysts) typically measure between 1 and 15 microns in size. A 1 micron absolute filter will effectively trap and reduce:

  • Cryptosporidium (Crypto cysts: ~3–5 microns)

  • Giardia lamblia (Giardia cysts: ~8–12 microns)

  • Entamoeba histolytica (~10–20 microns)
