The SAC10 is a high-quality drinking water cartridge that contains silver-impregnated carbon to inhibit biofilm and microbial build-up in the filter that can decrease product life.
The Granular Activated Carbon assures performance in taste and odour removal and organics reduction (including THMs). The silver impregnation means that the carbon is bacteriostatic and does not promote bacteria growth in the media.
The innovative cartridge design contains an expansion pad that minimises channelling and bypass and allows for maximum contact time between the water and carbon.
Cartridge life depends on feedwater quality and can often be extended by the use of a sediment removal prefilter to prevent premature clogging of the media’s active sites. This cartridge is suitable for filter tap use and cold water service only.
Applications
The SBAC10 is suitable for chlorine, taste, and odour reduction where a longer life span (12 months) is desired.
